David F. Alexander, 79, of Bealeton, died Oct. 3 at Warrenton Overlook Health and Rehabilitation Center. Raised in Oakton, Va., he was born there on May 27, 1929.

Mr. Alexander retired from TRW, where he worked as a security guard.

He was the husband of Florence P. Alexander for 56 years; father of David, Rusty, Bobby, Frannie, and Betsy; grandfather of 11, and great-grandfather of seven.

Preceding him in death were his parents, David C. and Helen Bell Alexander, a brother, Roger Lee Alexander, and a grandson.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7. Interment will be at Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax.

Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of the Rapidan or Warrenton Overlook Health and Rehabilitation Center.
