Clarke F. Dodson, 87, of Fauquier County, died Sept. 26 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.

Mr. Dodson had served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from the U.S. government.

He was predeceased by his parents, Oliver and Mary Ellen Dodson, son Daniel R. Dodson, three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; a son, Jerry Dodson; and a sister, Mildred Deavers.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 9350 Braddock Road, Burke, Va., with interment following at Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax.
