William Edward Noyes, property manager
William Edward Noyes, 66, of Stephens City, died July 21 in Fauquier County. He was born June 17, 1942, in Washington, D.C., to John Lester Noyes and Doris Elizabeth Lutes Noyes.
Mr. Noyes worked at Crown, Cork & Seal in Winchester. He was a herdsman for Ash Will Farm in Berryville and property manager for Wood Box Farm in Middleburg. Upon retiring, he owned and operated Greenscape Property Maintenance of Stephens City.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lee Noyes.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Elizabeth Ann Lake Noyes; two sons, Darrell E. Noyes of Stephenson, Va., and Dwayne A. Noyes of Martinsburg, W.Va.; one daughter, Sheryl A. Campbell of Crouse, N.C.; and two grandchildren.
A sister, Donna N. White of Berryville, also survives.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24. The Rev. Geneal Wilson and the Rev. Donald Moulden will officiate. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville.
