Margaret Ann Shumaker, homemaker

Margaret Ann Shumaker, 74, longtime resident of The Plains, died July 20 in Arlington.

She was born Aug. 27, 1933, in Upperville to the late Luther and Mary Agnes Embrey Ridgeway.

Mrs. Shumaker was predeceased by her husband, Laten Shumaker.

Survivors include three children, Edward Thomas of The Plains, Debbie Perez of Linden and Diane Atwell of Charlotte, N.C., and three grandchildren.

A sister, Dottie Williams of Warrenton, also survives.

The family will receive friends at Royston Funeral Home, Marshall, on Thursday, July 24, from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Marshall Cemetery, Marshall.
