Terchick, Carter to wed in spring

Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Terchick of Belle Vernon, Pa., recently announced the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Terchick, to Jamie Carter, son of Jerry and Cindy Carter of Warrenton.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania and is a teacher in the Fauquier County school system.

The future groom graduated from Emory and Henry College and is also a teacher in Fauquier County, as well as an assistant football coach for Fauquier High School.

A spring wedding is planned.
