The Plains Thanksgiving service Nov. 26
The Plains community Thanksgiving Eve service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, at the First Baptist Church.
Churches participating are First Baptist, The Plains Baptist, St. Mark's United Methodist, Belvoir Assembly of God, and Grace Episcopal.
The preacher will be the Rev. Jack F. Rudy from The Plains Baptist Church.
All are invited to attend and renew their thankfulness to God in these uncertain times.
Earn college degrees
Enroll now to earn an undergraduate or graduate degree in theology or Biblical studies at Bethlehem Christian University.
Classes meet Thursday evenings at 13314 Lovers Lane, Culpeper.

Thanksgiving dinner and service Nov. 25
Everyone is welcome to the 31st annual Thanksgiving potluck dinner and service at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Faith Christian Fellowship, 3005 Dumfries Road, Catlett.
The Catlett Community ensemble will present a special program.
A free-will offering will be taken for the Union Rescue Mission in Washington, D.C.

Remington UMC hosts Wellness Series
The Remington Wellness Series addresses life issues that affect individuals, their families, the environment and society in the Fauquier/Culpeper area.
These conversations strive to address real problems and will offer both secular and faith-based alternatives. The Wellness Conversations will be offered from 7-8:30 p.m. the third Thursday of the month. Child care will be provided.
On Nov. 20, Alan Rassmussen, Prevention Specialist, RRCSB, will present "Teen Suicide Prevention: Learn Three Steps to Save a Life."
A recent survey in our area showed that 30 percent of our teens are depressed. The Culpeper area has one of the highest suicide rates in the state. This training is a must for every parent, grandparent or anyone who cares about teens. Learn specific techniques on how to identify youth that are thinking about suicide and what can be done.
